In case you’re in the area, Fallon & Byrne got a new shipment!
I did leave a few (a very few) Jif extra crunchies on the shelf, and since I’m not a pumpkin pie kind of person there’s still a good 10 jars or so of Libby’s for those who want it. Lucky Charms, maple syrup, Hershey’s chocolate sauce and Bazooka bubble gum were also dotted around, so have a good look before heading for the till. And close your eyes when you get there.
AHHHH! They have been out for so long. Don’t make these announcements in your blog — people will run out and buy the stuff before I get there!
I will go tomorrow!
LOL – I know, I wanted to hug the manager for getting it all back in!
I’m shocked – you’re a Jif girl! I never would have guessed. Skippy RULZ!
That’s great news for you. Now, if and when I make a trip to Dublin I won’t have to bring a suitcase full of peanut butter. But, I might need to bring along some romance novels…your bookshelf looks a little empty there.
Ha! I am the same way here when I go to the import shop for my husband. I get rashers and sausages, black and white pudding, King Crisps, Lucozade, Club Orange, and way too much Cadbury’s. I once spent well over $100. I about cr@pped myself. Oh, well. He had a mean Christmas fry that year!
Yum-my! I love Aunt Jemima pancakes. No one has better thicker and fluffier pancakes like her. =)
This is great news! I’m moving to Dublin on Tuesday to live with my fiance, I thought I was going to have to bring my own peanut butter. But I don’t, so YAY!
Amy – I’d make a great Eastern European, I take whatever’s on the shelf. Laura – that would be great, just put them in Jeff’s suitcase.
Megan – I remember doing that in the States! Shari – Agreed. Liz – Welcome!!! And maybe bring a jar or two…
Laura – lol, sorry, got confused about the Lauras!! But if the offer still stands…
