Wow, so a morning at the shops has reminded me again of how much I hate summer clothes. The thought of revealing bare arms and legs makes me want to run and hide. Not only am I so white that I practically glow in the dark, but I actually had to choose clothing based on the fact that I will also be glaringly red by about our second day in the sun. Oy ya yoy.
Anyway, I persevered and found three cute sundresses that can be dressed up with a little jewellery and perhaps a cardigan in the evening. Thank you Monsoon, thank you Laura Ashley and thank you again Laura Ashley. Now I just need to find a pair of sandals and hit the library for my maximum eight books and I should be good to go. Four days and counting.

I recently purchased Jergen’s sunless tanning lotion in a speed up version. It really works and takes 3 days to give you a hint of sun without the UV rays. Look at me, sounding like an Ad agent. I have plenty left over if you want to use it!
Love the dresses, especially the blue one from Monsoon. I hear you on the skin - I’m practically see-thru. Might I recommend Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 PA+++. It’s a little on the pricey side, but totally worth it. It feels like moisturizer and really does the job (not sure if your skin is as sensitive as mine but sunblock, even the stuff just for faces, usually stings me in the eye area).
Liz - Are you commenting on your honeymoon?! That’s hard core!
Amy - That one’s my favourite too! The knots on the shoulders do make it a little Pollyanna, but I think I’ll just have a tailor deal with them when I get back.
We’ll take a honeymoon next year after the reception that everyone will be invited to. And methinks it’ll be the Maldives. We came straight back to Dublin to crack Immigration. Not having much luck so far. But I’ll check back in after 10 days.
