Dear Mr. Springsteen,
When my husband Laurence and I attended your concert several years ago and you very happily played four encores we said it was the best concert we’d ever been to. Because we thought you couldn’t top it, we didn’t bother buying tickets to this year’s tour. But, Mr. Springsteen, I really have to thank you for choosing such a great sound system. Though we live a few miles away from your concert venue we can hear EVERYTHING you are singing and saying. But you’re not just entertaining us, sir, there are couples on the majority of balconies in the surrounding buildings as well. I wish I could have filmed our sing-a-long to Thunder Road, I think you would have liked it.
Keep up the good work, and come back any time.
Sincerely,
Me
My sis went to the gig last night.
Wish I could have gone! I should have come down that way last night instead of hanging out in North County Dublin.
We can hear it too. And it sounds amazing. And his motorcade almost ran me over last night. It would have been a noble death indeed. I love you, Bruce!
I can’t hear him down here, obviously, but I can hear him rehearsing every afternoon from noon until around 2ish while I’m at work. It has been brilliant!
It must be the garden state in him.
So jealous you are within hearing distance!
Eurovision liveblogging? purty please?
ROFLMAO!!!
Alan – We didn’t hear him on Thursday, but Friday and Sunday were great!
Megan – I’m sure that was fun too!
Liz & Liz – It’s been awesome!!
Kate – I would agree with that.
Catherine – I had no idea that I do live within hearing distance!
Smirelja – That just cracked me up!!
