Totally without trying to it seems that I’ve had a very girly weekend.
Yesterday I did a little browsing on Grafton Street followed by viewing Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day with Jo. Very cute film, and I loved the costumes.
Today I got up early to head to the Ultimate Girls Day Out and then stopped in to check out Real Gourmet Burger with Liz. Though we didn’t stay for the fashion show, we did bag some nice goodies including an excellent Liz Earle cleanser and a very cherry lollipop so that awesome. Then as we wandered home the sun came out, which was a very welcome sight. Blissful, in fact.
Now I’m all tired out from the flurry of activity so I think I’m going to finish off the weekend with a nice bubble bath and then try to get to bed a little early. Fingers crossed it works out smoothly!
The lipstick is actually quite lovely. I fell on the couch after applying it and it held up quite well.
Do I event want to ask how that happened? I was nicely surprised by the lipstick too – totally stayed on throughout the eating of a pastry!
In retrospect, it seems like I was up to something somewhat illicit. That is not the case. I put the lipstick on and checked myself out in the mirror. Then I sat down on the couch to watch the some of the 10,000 Simpsons episodes that seem to be on each Sunday. As my eyelids got heavier and heavier, I finally gave into the sweet wonderful world of sleep and woke up later refreshed and without a smudge. Brava, Rimmel.
