I love this sign. I love how vague it is. They might have two spaces or they might have twenty-two spaces, but you’re not going to find out until you get in the queue with no recourse but to wait it out. It must require a lot of soul searching before parking. Are you willing to take the risk? You’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?

There used to be a sign like this on the way to the ferry terminal in town. If the ferry’s full, you’re looking at a minimum 2 hour wait in a parking lot. So they added a running tally of how full it is, like “98% Full.” Which is great to know, but since there’s nothing else around, you’re still waiting around in a parking lot.
