While I was sitting home this weekend I managed to catch up on any number of frivolous activities. Watching old TV shows seemed to be a big one. I got through two seasons of October Road (ehh), a couple of Army Wives (ehh but better), and a season of True Blood (holy vampires, I loved it!). Then, because Sookie made me laugh so hard, I downloaded and read Dead Until Dark and kept laughing. I can see I’m going to have to finish up all of the Southern Vampire Mysteries now.
I also finished Anita Shreve’s Testimony and was highly disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend it. And when did all novels start becoming Something: A Novel? I know it’s a freaking novel, that’s why I picked it up! I certainly didn’t think it was a dictionary. But I digress.
Still sorting out medicine times and dosages (there was a lot of “Do you remember when I took the last pill? Should I take another one now?” going on over the last few days) and got a call that the last test results should be in soon. Other than that I’m sitting tight.
You saw the whole season of TB? Isn’t it good? I had already read the books, though…it’s kind of fun knowing a little bit of what will happen but seeing is even better…Are you team Eric, Bill, or…? (let’s talk after you read a few more books)
Not knowing anything that’s coming, I kind of like Sam right now. But I know she doesn’t. I do like Eric too. Bill’s just kind of… blah. But he’s funny in his own way I guess. But still, if I were new in town I’d want to be Sam’s friend.
Sam is a very loyal friend, I love Sam. True Blood is amaaaazing. I’m so glad you like it!
I LOVE True Blood! I am not a Sam fan, he seems a tad … pathetic. And Bill? Dreamy.

I also loved True Blood – better than the book I felt – and so totally different to Six Feet Under. I’m on team Bill by the way
