I’m Positive

It’s not been a great few days, so to combat the very, very negative post I want to write I’ll try to focus on the positives.
Positive:  Only a few more hours and then Larry and I have two days to hang out.
Positive: Asparagus, goats cheese and lemon pasta from Smitten Kitchen is on the menu [...]

Good News:  The scar is actually healing pretty nicely and will be long, but very narrow/thin.
Good News:  I’m down from sleeping with seven assorted pillows to sleeping with three.
Good News:  I can [...]

Hello all!
Long time no post, I know.  I apologise.  But really, if you knew the nitty-gritty of my recovery days I think you’d thank me for keeping you in the dark.  Suffice to say time has been marked by milestones such as going potty alone, taking a shower by myself, fastening a bra and [...]

A Quick Update

Hello all – I’m alive and kicking!
The very quick update is that surgery went well, there were only a few myasthenia complications and no surgical complications, and while the results aren’t back on the thymus itself there was nothing to be found in the surrounding area.  This means that even if there was something [...]
