Shenanigans was born in 2006 when I decided that there must be a better way to keep in touch with family and friends around the world than the occasional mass email. And I do mean family and friends around the world – though I was born in America I’ve lived in England and Singapore as well as my present home in Ireland. In fact, I became an Irish citizen after marrying my husband and have lived happily in Dublin since 2002. In that time I earned an MLIS and worked as a school librarian before throwing caution to the wind and becoming a full time freelance writer in 2007. When I’m not scribbling away I like to read, travel, eat out and go to the cinema. I also love to make new friends, so be sure to leave a comment!

Hi!
Met you at the inkwell workshop on Sat. Really enjoyed your talk, and am quite fired up with the notion of starting my own blog. Need to get in touch with oldest son (works in IT ) as am a bit thick when it comes to the use of computers!! Only graduated fairly recently from a quill.
Thanks again for Sat.
